Japan Election Talk
The Japanese Embassy in Ireland has organised for the visit of Mr. Wakamiya (a columnist with the Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun) to give a talk on the recent election in Japan in UCD on October 12.
The talk will be hosted by Declan Downey, Professor of Japanese History at UCD. Given the radical nature of the election result Mr. Wakamiya’s talk will certainly be interesting and provides an opportunity to hear a journalist’s perspective on prospect of Japanese politics.
