The Embassy of Japan would like to advise you that recruiting has now started for the 2010 JET Programme.

JET is an ideal way for young Irish graduates to enjoy the experience of living and working in Japan for between 1 and 5 years. A total of 126 Irish JETs are currently living and working all around Japan (as of July 2009). You will find reports from a number of current and former JETs about their individual experiences on the Embassy website (http://www.ie.emb-japan.go.jp/JET+Reports.htm).

The application forms for the 2010 JET Programme can be downloaded from the Embassy’s website http://www.ie.emb-japan.go.jp/JET.htm or requested from the JET Desk (tel: 01 202 8306, e-mail: jet@embjp.ie). The deadline for applications is Friday 4 December 2009 and successful applicants will leave for Japan at the end of July 2010.
