IJA Membership

Our network of members consists of approximately 400 Irish and Japanese people and businesses, most living in Ireland. Each member is exposed to different aspects of Japanese culture – literature, music, films, cuisine, business, arts, language and so on, in Ireland.

There are three types of membership available.

1. INDIVIDUAL & FAMILY MEMBERSHIP

   Individual Membership is open to individuals who have an interest in meeting and keeping up to date with Japan Ireland related cultural and social issues and events in Ireland. More details.

2. JET ALUMNI & TEACHERS MEMBERSHIP

   Individual Membership is available to former JET Programme Participants and members of the Japanese Language Teachers of Ireland at the reduced rate of €30 for the first year of membership. More details.

3. CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP

   Corporate members find that many of the events provide useful networking opportunities and facilitate corporate entertainment of Japan-related clients. Given the nature of Japanese society, being seen to be part of the broad Japanese networking system is regarded by corporate members as one of the most important reasons for joining IJA. More details.
